Installation & Setup
Treasure Collector adds the ItemCleanupZone entity. Place one or more zones in your scenario and every item lying on the ground inside a zone is removed after a configurable delay.
Installation
- Add the mod from the Arma Reforger Workshop as a dependency of your scenario mod (or to your server's
modslist). - Open your world in the World Editor.
- Place an ItemCleanupZone where items should be cleaned up (spawn, base, event area …).
- Adjust the settings in the Inspector (see below) and save the world.
Settings
| Setting | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
Active | on | Turns the zone on or off |
Radius | 50 | Radius of the zone in meters |
ScanInterval | 30 | How often the zone scans for items, in seconds |
DeleteDelayMinutes | 5 | How long an item must lie on the ground before it is deleted, in minutes |
OnlyWeapons | off | Only remove weapons |
OnlyMagazines | off | Only remove magazines |
DebugMode | on | Circle visualization in Play mode and console output |
DebugMode is enabled by default. Turn it off for live servers.
How deletion works
- The zone scans for items at the configured interval.
- Found items are tracked with a timestamp.
- An item is only deleted once it has been on the ground for the configured delay. Items picked up in the meantime are removed from tracking.
What is never deleted
- Players and AI soldiers
- Vehicles and weapons or equipment mounted on vehicles
- Items in inventories, boxes and containers
- Buildings, triggers and other gameplay objects
Performance tips
- Use no more than 10–15 zones per map.
- Keep the scan interval at 30 seconds or more.
- A radius of 50–200 m works best.
Troubleshooting
Items are not removed? Check that Active is on, the radius is large enough and the delay has passed. Enable DebugMode to see what the zone tracks.
Zone not visible in the editor? The circle is only drawn in Play mode (F5). In the static editor you only see the icon and bounding box.
