Groups
| Key | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
groupName | string | yes | Name of the group. Players cannot rename it |
description | string | no | Description, e.g. role or task |
faction | string | yes | Faction key, e.g. US, USSR, FIA |
maxMembers | int | yes | Maximum number of members |
allowedPlayerUIDs | array of strings | no | Players allowed to join. If missing, everyone may join |
radioFrequencies | array | yes | Radio frequencies of the group |
radioFrequencies[].frequency | float | yes | Frequency in MHz |
How it works
- Group join: after the player has spawned, the frequencies are spread over the transceivers of their radio. The first frequency becomes the group frequency. The mod retries for up to 30 seconds after spawn.
- Restricted groups: players not listed in
allowedPlayerUIDscannot join and get a message. - Protection: predefined groups cannot be renamed or deleted by players, and they stay when they are empty.
- Players can still create their own new groups.
The number of usable frequencies is limited by the number of transceivers on the player's radio. Extra frequencies are ignored.
